Certificate III in Health Service Assistance — HLT33115

This qualification reflects the role of a variety of workers who use a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients. Health services assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision.

The Certificate III in Health Services Assistance qualifies you to provide assistance to health professionals with services to clients and patients. While you won’t actually be delivering direct care to clients, a Health Services Assistance role will see you being in direct client contact.

It will equip you to capably and skillfully undertake a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • patient service attendant
  • orderly
